Do you like to travel? I love to travel, but I don’t do it nearly as often as I should. My ideal vacation is somewhere close to the equator and it involves white sand, warm water, and tropical fruits. Whenever I mix a drink with any kind of tropical juice, I’m instantly transported to a deserted tropical island. Even if that euphoric feeling only lasts a few minutes, its worth it. Not to mention the fact that something like mango juice tastes incredible in a cocktail.

I used Altos Tequila Field Notes for this recipe. Not only is it smooth and delicious, but it’s 100% Blue Agave and goes perfectly with the intense flavors I incorporated into this cocktail. A mojito is typically made from rum, but I’m a firm believer that mixing a high quality tequila with the right ingredients creates a perfect drink, so I went with it. the base of this drink is lime juice, simple syrup, fresh mint, and mango juice. That combination alone makes for a tasty treat, but when you add the tequila and top it off with some bubbly club soda, a refreshing adult cocktail is what you get. I consider this drink the perfect summer cocktail because not only does it have the fresh flavors of summer, but its easy to make and is incredibly refreshing. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite easy summer drinks, along with my Summer Vodka Fizz.

I need a little something at the end of the day when I’m home with kids during this quarantine. Thanks for this new variety of special mommy drink. Definitely looking forward to my second one tomorrow.

This drink tastes amazing! I had some ripe mangos on my tree and also grow mint so I was able to make it very quickly. Love it!
