Ingredients
4cupsberriesblueberries, blackberries, raspberries, boysenberries, and marionberries work best
1tablespoonlemon juice
1cupflour
1cupsugar
1largeegg
6tablespoonsbutter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375℉.
Add 4 cups berries to a 9x9 baking dish. Toss with 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
In small bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 large egg. Mixture will be crumbly. Cover berries with mixture.
Slice 6 tablespoons butter into thin slices and spread as evenly as possible on top of cobbler mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm or cold. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top is amazing.Using frozen berries: To adjust the recipe, simply add the fruit to the pan and let the pan sit in the oven when it preheats. Then, add the topping and bake per the instructions. That's it!
