Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice 5 limes
  • 10 cups water
  • Ice
  • Fresh sprigs of mint
  • lime slices

Instructions

  • Squeeze juice from limes and remove any seeds. Combine with ice water. Garnish with lime slices and sprigs of mint, if desired.
  • To make lime ice cubes, just freeze the juice in ice cube trays (I use silcon trays) and pop a frozen cube in a tall glass of water.

Notes

Quick tips:

  • We love having lime water to drink at all times. Buy a big bag of limes from Costco, juice them all up at once, and then freeze the lime juice into single serving cubes. Once frozen, you can store in a resealable plastic freezer bag or container.
  • If making a pitcher of lime water, add lime slices and lots of sprigs of fresh mint but be sure to save extra to garnish the glass.
