Four simple ingredients and only a few minutes of prep time are all you need to create this mouthwatering BLUEBERRY DUMP CAKE. It's a perfect summer dessert!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 12 inch round oven safe skillet or baking dish.
Add berries to prepared dish and cover with lemon juice.
Dump contents of cake mix onto blueberries and shake pan to evenly distribute. Cover with melted butter.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 35-45 minutes.
Notes
*Weight of cake mixes depends of brands. Its okay if the weight is a little off from the recommended 16 ounces.
You can use fresh or frozen blueberries in this dump cake recipe. Just keep in mind that if you use frozen berries, it might increase the baking time.
I highly recommend using Trader Joe's Vanilla Cake Mix if that's an option for you.
Don't hold back - serve this blueberry dump cake with a big ol' scoop of vanilla ice cream right on top and then try to eat it all before the ice cream completely melts. Oh yes.
