Oven Baked Rosemary Chicken

Oven Baked Rosemary Chicken is an easy and healthy dinner recipe that your entire family will enjoy. Bone-in skin-on chicken pieces are marinated in a homemade lemon rosemary combination that gives great flavor to this moist and delicious oven roasted chicken recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken pieces bone in, skin on
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic minced

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a gallon sized resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least an our up to over night.
  • When ready to cook, preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. 

Notes

White meat might take less time to cook than dark meat.
