In large bowl, combine ground beef, bacon pieces, onion soup mix, and roasted green chili. Use hands to thoroughly but gently combine. Form into four equal sized patties and use your knuckle to press an indentation into the center of each patty.
Grill over high heat, indentation side down first, until browned on the bottom, 5-10 minutes. Flip and allow to finish cooking until its cooked to your desire, another 5-10 minutes. Top with sliced cheese if you prefer it melt. Cooking with the indentation on the top at the end allows the juices to pool and soak back in. Allow burgers to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
