Only a few simple ingredients are needed to make this delicious dessert recipe. Bonus: If fresh peaches are not in season, you can easily use canned or frozen peaches.

If the skin doesn’t easily peel away when scored, peel with a knife or peeler. Alternatively, blanch in boiling water and then transfer to ice bath so the skin will easily peel.
    • Canned: Low sugar canned peaches recommended. Drain prior to using.
    • Frozen: Place in baking dish and allow to fully thaw before adding topping and baking.
  • Peach cobbler variations: Make peach blueberry cobbler by adding a few handfuls of blueberries. Blackberries or raspberries taste great with peach too. If you have a vanilla bean, scrape out the seeds and mix them in with the peaches. A splash of vanilla or lemon zest in the crumb topping always tastes great.
  • Storage: Any leftovers can be stored in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
  • Serving suggestions: Serve warm or cold. Also tastes great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 tablespoons butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Add peaches to a 9×9 baking dish. Toss with lemon juice.

  • In small bowl, combine flour, sugar, and egg. Mixture will be crumbly. Cover peaches with mixture.

  • Slice butter into thin slices and spread as evenly as possible on top of cobbler mixture.
